Here is my design team project for February for The Piece By Piece:

I created a Muslin Roll for my sister-in-law's 50th Birthday.  We will be in Ecuador with her on her 50th birthday and I wanted to take her a homemade gift (she has always loved handmade gifts) but it needed to be small since we have to pack light.  I took two strips of muslin that were approx. 3" wide by 50" long and sewed pieces of  laces and trims from The Piece By Piece.  I also stitched a vintage measuring tape across the top so I would have 50".  I then sewed both pieces together - leaving the frayed edges out.  I then embellished each sides with pictures from Julie's 50 years.  It was perfect because aren't our lives like little pieces of this and that stitched together to make life.  I printed the pictures out on fabric paper so they would be flexible when the roll was rolled up.  The links to the items I used from The Piece by Piece, the store and my video are all below:

Heart Shaped Easel Cards and Gift Wrapping

I had to hurry up and make the cards and wrap the bottles that I showed on my last post.  My oldest daughter was going to visit my youngest daughter and I wanted her to take them with her.  So, I made them each an heart shaped easel card and wrapped their bottles up in boxes.  I didn't have time to take individual pictures, but here is the video of the cards and gift wrapping:
Have a lovely day,
Hugs,

I'm back with another Valentine's Day project.  I decorated some glass jars I purchased from Michaels.  They are long and narrow and have a glass fleur des lis at the top.  I wrapped a picture that I colorized in Printshop and printed on Watercolor paper around the jar.  I added beautiful WOC products to decorate the jars:

At the top and bottom of each paper piece I added some Guipure lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I made the corset using rivets and then Vintage Seam Binding from Wild Orchid Crafts laced through the rivets.  I decorated the sides with silk ribbon, pearl sprays, flowers and charms - mostly from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I filled the jars with candies that matched the color schemes.
See the video for the project:
